[Chorus:]
Roll on highway, roll on along
Roll on daddy till you get back home
Roll on family, roll on crew
Roll on momma like I asked you to do
And roll on eighteen-wheeler, roll on. (roll on.)
Well, it's Monday morning, he's kissin' momma goodbye
He's up and gone with the sun
Daddy drives an eighteen-wheeler
And he's off on a midwest run
As three sad faces gather round momma
They ask her when daddy's comin' home
Daddy drives an eighteen-wheeler
And they sure miss him when he's gone (yeah they do)
Ah, but he calls them everynight
And he tells them that he loves them
And he taught them this song to sing.
[Chorus:]
Roll on highway, roll on along
Roll on daddy till ya get back home
Roll on family, roll on crew
Roll on momma like I asked you to do
And roll on eighteen-wheeler roll on. (roll on.)
Well, it's Wednesday evening, momma's waitin by the phone
It rings but it's not his voice
Seems the highway patrol has found a jackknifed rig
In a snow bank in Illinois
But the driver was missin'
And the search had been abandoned.
'Cause the weather had everything stalled
And they had checked all the houses and the local motels
When they had some more news they'd call
And she told them when they found him
To tell him that she loved him
And she hung up the phone singin'.
[Chorus:]
Roll on highway, roll on along
Roll on daddy till ya get back home
Roll on family, roll on crew
Roll on momma like I asked you to do
And roll on eighteen-wheeler roll on.
Momma and the children will be waiting up all night long
Thinkin' nothing but the worst is comin'
With the ringin' of the telephone
Oh, but the man upstairs was listening
When momma asked him to bring daddy home
And when the call came in it was daddy on the other end
Askin' her if she had been singin' the song, singin'.
[Chorus:]
Roll on highway, roll on along
Roll on daddy till ya get back home
Roll on family, roll on crew
Roll on momma like I asked you to do
And roll on eighteen-wheeler roll on (roll on)
Eighteen-wheeler
Eighteen-wheeler
Eighteen-wheeler
Eighteen-wheeler
Roll on
Roll on...
Roll on highway, roll on along
Roll on daddy till you get back home
Roll on family, roll on crew
Roll on momma like I asked you to do
And roll on eighteen-wheeler, roll on. (roll on.)

Talking about Hack/Slash Resurrection # 8 https://radioofhorror.com/podcast/hack-slash-resurrection-8/

Issue 14. Is another good one Overlord just being like what? When Morph shows up yet again is comedy gold this one also relies on reading the tie in but I think does a better job of giving context to the issue 13 did. The panel of SkullFace Standing at Franks's door lighting behind him and the last page of Evil Dragon are all-time greats Issue 15. The Tale of 2 one Sided fights Dragon V.S. Chicago with Freak force out of town and Frank Vs SkullFace. Both fights are pretty hopeless for the good guys. Dragon running commentary really brings it together with the Phil Dirt description didn't age great but what has in 30 years . Love all the cop's reactions to just how fucked they are with their big gun turned to the side of evil. This is even better if you know what's coming years later

Getting put in Facebook jail really killed my motivation for the re-read but I'm feeling much better now Issue 13a Lots of people hate this Issue but I think it's fine most ending is rushed really the most interesting thing about it was the Rumor Alex dies in this issue when clearly she doesn't I think this is the only time we See Willaim doing undercover work which was neat Issue 12 I enjoyed though I can see how it'd be a bit confusing if you hadn't read the tie ins I like the Justice and She-Dragon are shown to already be idiots and Overlord's annoyance at "Frank" showing up again is gold Issue 13 This issue is much better than the Jim Lee one I like the subversion with the Underground freaks not fighting Dragon and Star (Rock FTW) And how this issue tied into Erik's WildC.A.T.S. issue and even calling back to 13a with Dragon and grifter already know each other #SavageDragon30th

felt this issue was a bit weaker than the last few but still good Doug Herman being a loser who was misled by Grifters is still sadly timely Fiend looks like Spawn this issue Mra Harrie must be jacked the way she threw that tv around the create a hero runners up in this issue are super 90's in the best way #savagedragon30th
